"In December 2007 I decided to get serious about losing weight. My doctor said that I should lose some weight and I agreed. Frankly, I was disgusted with myself for being at my highest weight ever! "All my life I've always had high cholesterol. My doctor has had me on a mild dose of cholesterol medication for the last three years, with no positive effect. Even though my doc was concerned, he decided that my body just produces a lot of cholesterol and there's not much he can do about it.
